BK Skin Studio is operated by a licensed esthetician under the rules of the Florida Board of Cosmetology and Florida Statutes Chapter 477. Esthetic services are limited to non-invasive skincare treatments, skin analysis, and product/routine education. Estheticians are not physicians, dermatologists, or nurses, and do not practice medicine.
Consultations, regimens, and product recommendations provided by BK Skin Studio are esthetic in nature. They are not a medical diagnosis, treatment, or prescription, and are not a substitute for care from a licensed dermatologist, physician, or other qualified medical provider. If you have a diagnosed or suspected medical skin condition, please consult a physician before or alongside any esthetic services.
If, during a consultation, your esthetician identifies something that may need medical evaluation — including but not limited to a suspicious lesion or mole, signs of infection, diagnosed dermatological disease, severe or cystic acne, or anything outside the scope of esthetic practice — you will be advised to see a licensed physician or dermatologist. We may decline to provide further esthetic services until you've done so.
New products carry a risk of irritation or allergic reaction, even when chosen carefully. We recommend patch testing any new product on a small area of skin for 24–48 hours before full use. Discontinue use immediately and contact a physician if you experience significant redness, swelling, burning, or breathing difficulty.
Individual results vary based on skin type, consistency, and factors outside our control. By booking a consultation or purchasing a kit, you acknowledge that recommendations are based on the information you provide, and that BK Skin Studio is not liable for reactions resulting from undisclosed allergies, medications, or conditions.
In-person consultations take place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The exact studio address is shared with you after your consultation is booked and confirmed. Virtual consultations are conducted by video and are available regardless of your location.
When you complete the intake form, you may share personal and skin-related information — including contact details, skin concerns, product history, allergies, medications, and any diagnosed conditions you choose to disclose. This information is collected for one purpose: to prepare for and personalize your consultation and any recommendations or kit.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties except where strictly necessary to deliver a service you've requested — for example, providing a shipping address to a carrier to fulfill a Transform Kit order. Your information is kept only as long as needed to provide services and meet recordkeeping obligations, and is stored using reasonable safeguards.
The information you provide here is collected by a licensed esthetician for esthetic, non-medical purposes and is not protected health information under HIPAA. You may request that we update or delete your information at any time by contacting us at the email listed on this site. By submitting the intake form, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described here.
Transform Kits are shipped within the United States after your consultation is complete and your regimen has been finalized. You'll receive tracking information once your kit ships. Shipping timeframes and any applicable shipping costs are confirmed at the time of order.
Because kits contain skincare products intended for personal use, opened or used products cannot be returned or refunded for health and safety reasons. If an item arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect product, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll make it right with a replacement. Consultation fees and the service portion of any kit are non-refundable once the consultation has taken place.
Consultations may be rescheduled or canceled with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less notice, or missed appointments, may be subject to a fee.
These policies are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
